Rent allowance/hap question?

Hi all. My mother is in a pretty difficult situation. Without going into details, she is under investigation at her job. She has been placed on paid leave while the investigation is ongoing. It's been a month now and will last at least another few weeks. She's worried sick about what will happen if the outcome is negative. I'm just looking for some info on her options, benefits wise, if things go badly. There is also a chance she will choose to leave even if they clear her name, due to the bullying and the stigma. She currently lives alone in an apartment, rent is €850pm. If she does lose her job ( :( ) will she be entitled to any assistance from the SW, such as HAP, RA, JB/JA? Is her rent too high to qualify? Her rent is actually way below market rate, she has been living there 3 years and just recently signed a lease for another year at the same rent, but has been informed that the rent will go up next September (to be fair the LL will only increase it to cover costs - last time she reviewed it she only upped it €50, but we have to keep in mind it may raise a lot). She will of course begin looking for a job right away but that could take any amount of time, especially if the outcome is negative.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

If she is sacked through misconduct she will be disqualified from JSB for 9 weeks.
She badly needs to get another job asap

She can't really do that just yet unfortunately, until the investigation is concluded. We're hoping that will just be another few weeks but you know how these things can drag on... She can barely get her union rep on the phone because he is, as it happens, up to his eyeballs in other cases against the same company. She is effectively being bullied out of her job and she's not the first one
