State payments following death

Hopefully somebody here can guide me, as the various State websites have me in a hoop. I'm following their link after link and ending back at the start

My father died last month and I need to assist my Mum in making the necessary amendments to her status. (South Dublin district if it is address specific). These are the things I need to do.

Who do I notify to cancel my Dad's State Pension?
Who do I notify to cancel his Medical Card?
How do I go about getting my Mother's (non-contributory) State Pension amended to a Widow's/Living Alone Pension?
Are there any 'extras' my Mother is now entitled to now that she is widowed?

Answers to these and other bits of advice would be greatly appreciated

Medical cards ph no is 1890252919 or post back his card with a note attached to
    Client Registration Unit
    P.O Box 11745
    Finglas
    Dublin 11
    Ireland
    Pensions ph no is 1890500000
You need your dads PPSN and date of death and they will require full contact details for your mam.
If they were in receipt of free electricity units and tv license, and the electric bill was in his name , then she will need to put it in her name, and reapply for the household benefits package in her own name. When you ring pensions about your dad dying ask them to send you a form for that, also, a widows contributory pension form.
If she is living entirely alone she will get the living alone increase.
She can also tick the box for fuel allowance in that form but it is means tested.
When she gets her contributory widows pension her non con will automatically be cancelled.
