UPC Remote

I moved into a new house and in the bedroom theres a UPC box connected to a UPC box on the wall, without a mains cable or start (not the issue I can get those!) but it's just that there's no remote? I don't want to get on to UPC from the house account, so is there a universal remote I can get? Or somewhere that sells UPC…

The decoder box needs an active subscriber card, there's no way it will work so you can forget about it. Best case (if the UPC wall box hasn't been disconnected) is to connect the aerial lead straight into the TV and see if you can get the 14 or so analog channels.
