Actual Weatherproof Fairy Lights?

    Hi Folks,

Hoping you can help me with this query. I've had various solar powered fairy lights which were supposedly waterproof but never last any length of time in the garden. Where can you buy fairy lights that will last outdoors in Irish weather? I guess looking for some good quality lights that are solar powered would be out of the question and that they'd need to be mains powered?

    Many thanks.

You can weatherproof them with clear nail varnish or clear tape. There's a YouTube channel called bigclivedotcom who has done just this.
