Hi How can the night time meter be reset, I think there is a problem with it as it is on constantly and we have stopped using the storage heater as a result, we need to get this sorted as the weather is turning cold, thanks.

    Hi mail,

Thank you for getting in touch.

Do you have any independent timers for your storage heaters? If not, this may be an issue with the ESB Networks time switch next to your meter. Can you check the time on the clock? It may be stuck at the wrong time.

If you are an Electric Ireland customer, you will need to call 1850 372 372 in order to arrange an appointment. Their phone line is open from 8am to 8pm, Monday to Saturday (excluding public holidays). Our colleagues will be able to arrange an appointment for a visit by an ESB Networks technician.

If you are with a different supplier, you will need to contact that supplier directly.

We hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

    Thanks,
    Aoife

Hi OP, this isn't by any chance in a big apartment development in D.8 by any chance??

I have a similar problem - ESB have said they'll check the meter/timer but there's a €200+ charge if (according to them) the meter/timer isn't the problem
