Right across from the ballycuggaran trail on the tipp side (ballina) Check out Tountinna walk (http://www.walkingroutes.ie/1236-Tountinna---Lough-Derg.html) and millenium cross walk. In work atm, but there should be more information online etc. Enjoy!

    hey all

looking for some ideas for trails and walks around limerick.

done the ballcuggaran loop today, so something along the same level of difficulty ideally.

    cheers in advance[/quote]

    Hey,
You could try out the Ballyhoura walking trails in Ardpatrick co Limerick. They have trails to suit everyone. Amazing scenery in the area. I did the one myself the other day. A lot of the trails start at the mountain bike place.

    Keeper Hill

Keeper Hill is situated in the Slieve Felim mountain range in North Tipperary and is just 15km east of Limerick City.

I'd definitely recommend Keeper hill, Beautiful forest area as well as wide views closer to the top.

It's about 16 - 17 Km up and down, mild incline most of the way with a one or two steeper areas near the top.

Was up today on the bike, here's a GPS track of the route though I didn't go all the way to the top. There's 2 routes to go the green marker is where you start.
