    Hi All,

    Any help greatly appreciated.

Right, so here's the scenario...big family holiday planned in late June/early July in Ireland. We're talking grandparents, parents, children and an infant. All in all its 8 adults and 5 children (ranging from 1 to 8 years of age) for about 4-7 nights. Looking for hotel suggestions (Kellys in Rosslare is a non runner!).

Any suggestions, previous experiences and idea's would be greatly appreciated.

Killarney is a great town for good hotels and things to do. I would recommend the Plaza hotel but there are many good hotels.

Also the Dingle Skellig hotel is nice for families.

Galway also worth a look. I would recommend the Ardilaun but there are also nice hotels in Clifden. Renvyle House hotel is also very nice but quiet.

Hodson Bay hotel in Athlone is great for families too.

Killarney would be our big family holiday spot also. There's the Quality Hotel which is OK because the kids are amused but I prefer the Malton or most of the hotels are good imo.If the weather is good you can spend days in Muckross as there's loads to do and loads of space for the children to play ect.

I'd also recommend the houses at Parknasilla..beautiful spot, great pool, walks ect.The houses are fab, very family orientated with playground ect.The grandparents love it there also but we've been very lucky weather wise whenever we stayed so maybe factor that into the plans.
