Virgin Media (upc)

    A long time customer of upc/virgin Media, decided to update my package as it was so old, big mistake now have a pain in my ear and neck and head and need to see a doctor due to the stress, after at least 10 phonecalls over 3 days (I kid not) I am now without any service at all I have finally received my new box but now have just been informed it takes 48 hrs to activate it first, I cannot even use my old box in the meantime because I was instructed to give it back to the delivery man ahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!

    BEWARE DEALING WITH VIRGIN MEDIA

    You should probably post this in Virigin Media's boards.ie thread, not much use in the satellite board. At least there, other potential virgin media customers could see.

    I empathize with you though, three days without TV would do my head in too, even as background noise. And many people have had this experience (I'm assuming horizon), when it does start working.. it will take time to get used to too. So be prepared, for more trips to the doctor!!!

    OP I'm going to close this thread rather then move it. The reason I'm doing so is to allow you to try and refomulate your opening post - in the Cable TV forum please - is such a way as to tell us what your actual technical problem is rather than about your medical troubles, which no one here can help you with.
