Wedding abroad for 80 people for less than 15k?

    Hi there,
Was looking for some help on planning a wedding abroad.
I want to have the wedding somewhere warm, like the idea of the countryside with a villa for the venue (although I am definitely open to suggestions).
I have spent the last 5/6 weeks contacting wedding planners in Spain, Italy and Portugal and none of them seem to have any concept of budget.
We were hoping to spend no more than 15,000 and all are coming back to me with quotes of 25k and up. I know some people have no problem spending this kind of money but to me, it’s just a day and I don’t want to get into debt for it (and I also want to keep the money for the honeymoon )
Has anyone used a wedding planner they can recommend and what was the cost of your wedding?
Am I dreaming to expect a wedding for less than 15k?

    Any help/ advice much appreciated!

    Thanks in advance

What do you expect for that?

    Venue hire
    Open bar
    Meals
    Ceremony
    Band
    Photographer
    Dress
    Transport
Rooms for wedding party, and for how many nights

    Etc.

Venue, bar, meal, ceremony, music and transport to/from ceremony is really what I want to get at a minimum. Anything after that within budget would be a bonus :) I'm looking at the dress, rings, accom etc as separate but quotes I am getting from planners dont include anything outside what I have listed here and it still costs a lot

Whats your rings, dress / suits and accommodation budget? They could easily be from 2-5k, a sizable chunk of the budget.

I'm getting married in Portugal on the Algarve - you can definitely achieve this. PM me and I'll put you in touch with a planner who can arrange everything...
