Heifers close to calving

I've 2 heifers (Belted Galloway) close to calving - first in around 2 weeks, and the other a month later.
Any advice on feeding regimes for the next few weeks?
I've them indoors, and on a small bale of hay a day between them, and a lick for in-calf cattle. Is a bale a day too much between them at this stage? They're in good condition and I'm a bit concerned about not letting them get too heavy ahead of calving.
