    Hi All,
Hi all I am looking for a bit of advice. I have a uk company with 15 years I have a few properties in it. I don't take a salary from it. All My taxes are always up to date. I got a letter in April of 2016 saying that i owe 100 pounds personally I did ignore it as I new my taxes were fine. I got another letter I said it to my accountant he did say to phone them When I did I explained my situation to hm revenue with my company and how I am a direct with out a salary they could give me an answer as to where the fine was arising I had to get my company accountant in the Uk to write to them to say that there is no self assessment tax due. Anyway I owe them 1300 pounds. Any advice on what to do ??

You do know this is an Irish site, right? You'll probably get an answer from someone with experience of the Uk system, but I'd imagine you'll be quicker if you ask on a British site...

100 pounds sound like the surcharge for non filing of form sa100. Possibly due as you are a director of a UK company. In my experience such penalties can be mitigated if there is a genuine reason the return was not filed.
