    Smallholder in Wicklow. .

Just wondering if such a thing as half decent discarded / replaced sheep wire would be something that would be lying around some farms?

Logic of course says if it is in any half decent shape it would still be in place but just wondering with fencing payment scheme whether fencing is getting replaced more frequently and I might pick up some old discarded wire.

On the look out for about 200m is all.

Tisn't something that you'd find easy... chances are if twas any good, the farmer would have used it again...

If you are doing fencing, i would try to save on the wire... you could get different quality stakes, which will determine the lifetime of the job, but you need good wire to do the job,..
