We went last year but it was expensive as we need to go from shahhon, London, Cyprus, including hotel over night in London it was nearly €700.

Is there any flights from Ireland to Cyprus that cost less.

Direct flights on Cobalt should be on sale soon for the summer. From Dublin only.

Cobalt are selling seats now for summer flights from Dublin to Larnaca. Unfortunately they don't have the bargain prices of €100 return this year but €200 still isn't too bad.

Ryanair fly to Cyprus..............but not direct from Dublin

They fly to both Larnaca and Paphos

Go to Ryanair.com and pick Cyprus as your base country to see the available routes.

Have a look at Aegean also, as I'm sure you can connect in Athens.

I really do not recommend doing that. It's not worth it to risk connecting flights that are not on the same ticket. If you miss your connecting flight you are on your own. You would want to be saving a lot of money to risk it. It's also very unlikely to be cheaper than Cobalt and you would have to have a long layover in case the flight was delayed.

That's a good option as well. I found flights from DUB-LCA via ATH for €175 return in June.

    How long is the journey

Why don't you check yourself? I think it's 4 hours to Athens and about 1.5 hours to Larnaca (with a 1-2 hour layover).
