Brakes sticking on Zetor 9540

    Hi all,
I have a 1995 Zetor 9540 4WD, (Zetor front axle) and recently the brakes are rubbing pretty tightly at the rear right hand wheel. They tend to tighten quite considerably when driving fastish but then tighten up so I have to stop driving and the brakes seem to release themselves again after a few minutes and the process repeats itself. Does anyone have any experience of this in these tractors (or similar ones). I haven't the tractor too long, know they are prone to giving some problems with brake servos going frequently so wonder could it be this. No leaks of oil/fluid from the servo.
    Any thoughts/insight welcome.
    Thanks in advance,
    SK

It's possible that the slave cylinder is sticking or half seized up.
Master cylinders are known to seize up too.
I had the same problem on a crystal . The slave cylinder was sticking

Send a private message to greendragon3. He know's everything there is to know about Zetors. Here is a link to a rebuild he did on a vintage one.
