I bought a pb sim dry heifer last August she was about 10 months old. Nice heifer straight animal. I will never breed her as a pb but she will be fine to run as a commercial. I noticed about a month ago. She has gone very gutish and really bad on one side she is comfortably ten to 12 inches more out one on one side than other. I was wondering is that her nature or could it be a hernia. Any thoughts

    Needs a good dose?
Closamectin or the likes to cover everything. Have a weanling bull who was similar, dosed about 6 weeks ago. Wet summer, fluke etc. had a great summer.
    Different animal now.

Change of diet may not be suiting her either. Vet recommended Ivy for a cow at one stage with gut problems. Didn't do her any harm.
