Golf Break Spain or Portugal Jan 2018

    Hi Guys, Anyone any experiences on a few days golfing in January and which places to hit? acc/pubs/courses prices..Was recommended Mercia in Spain by one person but looking for a lot more ideas before i decide. was hoping all of you guys here in the golf forum would be spot on. Will be a big group of us going for my Birthday (not all golfers but that and beer is the theme). Cheers

    Murcia has some very good courses. There was a thread about it in December when a poster had visited it and the three courses he played would be my choice. January is out of season and I'd imagine it would be very quiet for beers etc. I 'd plan on travelling later in the year if I was you. Saying that, We've been there in April and May and had to make our own fun. We found houses to rent on booking.com.

    Cheers Searay..my bday late December and all of us working hard December so would defo be a January holiday..loads married etc so most the lads could fit it into xmas hols.
