One year or two?

    Hi guys,

I've an 2007 Kia Ceed, NCT expires in July 2017. Am I right in thinking that if I submitted it for voluntary early testing in Feb/March of 2017 that it would get it's last ever two year certificate, seeing as it would still be a 9 and a half year old car?

Similar question ... but I might have missed the boat.

I've a 2007 Nissan Note. Tested by dealer just before I bought it in June 2015. That test was good for two years. Didn't remember that NCT due until I got reminder in the post last week. If I test now (presuming I get slot, easy enough down the country) in April/early May, would that mean the NCT would expire in June 2018? ... or wishful thinking since the car is not quite 10 years old now at time of testing, would it give me a two-year cert exp June 2019?

Will only be for 1 year as your not over 90 days before due date so June 2018.

What date was the car registered on?

Thanks. But mad with myself that I missed the opportunity to get two-year cert.
