Hi just wondering does anyone on here know of any garages around galway city that dont charge an arm and a leg for a bit of work I need done to my car or even any mechanics that do their own bits from home that wouldn't be as expensive as bringing it to a garage as I'm fairly strapped for cash after the Christmas. I'm not sure what's wrong to be honest I have a Mazda 6 and there is an usual loud noise coming from the rear of the car when I press the brakes. It's not a squeaking noise it's more like a loud dull kind of noise . Thanks.

Sounds like metal on metal, maybe one of your rear pads has disintegrated.
