    Hi,

I have a 2009 Toyota Avensis and I noticed that the hot air in the car would not turn on.
I brought it to a mechanic and he said that the head gasket is gone(he said the water is going from radiator into engine). Other than the hot air not working the car drives perfectly and I would not have known this.

I have been quoted from 950 - 2000 to get the car fixed.

Can anybody here give advice or quotes on the most reasonable price in cork for this repair.

    Thanks

Get a reconditioned engine cheaper than that, trainors breakers are huge, and can deliver ,saying that personally I'd get a second opinionpm me if u like, and if near Carrigaline, can point you to a decent mechanic I use, whis reasonable, and honest

Get a second opinion. You can check for gunk/mayo under oil cap (even though this should not be used as a single proof of HG issue)
