Cannot Figure Out What Im Doing Wrong

Im replacing an old satellite dish on a house as it was completely rotten with salt damage and about to fall apart.

I grabbed a practically identical dish that I saved from another house and stuck it up. All I did was pop the LNB out of the bracket (the one that lets you click-select 1-5, 2 being optimum for Ireland), slid the old dish off, slid the new on and popped the LNB back in the new bracket, clicked it to 2, got it roughly pointed at Astra 2a with an app on my phone, fine tuned it with a standard analogue screech-y sat meter until I had the signal absolutely perfect, but then nothing, No Signal on some channels, Scrambled on others, all channels working perfectly minutes beforehand on old dish. Both LNBs are this common Sky kind so it wasnt a case of it being the wrong bracket or anything and even if it was I had it well tuned with the meter and the boxes own signal meter:

Theres no way I wasnt on Astra 2a, everything was perfect and I redid it about 5 times, perfect signal every time, signal quality 90%, signal intensity 80% on my Ariva box's built in meter. I checked absolutely everything multiple times.

In the end out of frustration I slid the old rotten dish back on, stuck the same LNB back in its old bracket, fine tuned it with the finder and suddenly the box goes from No Signal to crystal clear Sky News, signal quality 90%, signal intensity 80%, on the same LNB!

Can anyone tell me why the new dish doesn't work? They are basically identical, same standard 60cm dish you see on every house in Ireland. Im absolutely baffled by it, even if there was a slight difference Im still tuning it to perfection with the meter, and obviously the cable and LNB are fine because they work perfectly on the old rotten dish.

Sorry for the long read but this is driving me crazy...

Very strange alright. Both dishes are painted steel?

Yep, both appear to be this model:

The only thing thats changing is the bracket, on the old one you push the LNB down over the bar and it clicks into place, on the new one it slides into the front of the bar and a screw holds it in place so logically that must be it, but as I said, if the signal is near-perfectly tuned according to the box and the meter is screeching strongly why isn't a picture coming through?

Its not a case of it being a different satellite either Im 99% sure of that.

The 'new' dish might be distorted some way, affecting some frequencies more than others?

It was working fine on the house it was pulled from right up to when they asked me to take it away.
