Hi Im applying for a job as a apple home adviser. I have mobile broadband witch gives me the upload and download speeds needed for the job but have been told mobile wont do.
Just wondering if any one is doing this job with mobile broadband and how much data allowance do you need.

But they said mobile won't do so I presume it's nothing to do with data allowance and everything to do with reliable connection

I think they require fixed line for their own security policies.

Apple doesn't really specify what kind of broadband you need. I was asking about the data allowance to know what kind of package I would need and how much you would need to do the job

VOIP isn't that taxing, you'll be accessing a knowledge base so that isn't too taxing either.

Maybe allow 3Mbits (they ask for 5 I can't imagine they'll only ask for exactly what they need) converting to GB/h that's 1.35GB/h * 39 ( contracted hours) is 52.65 per week, so you'd want probably 300-400GB a month including your own use.
