Tractor lights

    Hi,
I'm currently in the process of repairing all the lights on my Massey Ferguson 165. I have gave the tractor a good look over all it seems all the nessacery wires running to my headlights are in working order. I just think that the fuse between the power coming from the battery to the switch is blown (replacement fuse is ordered). I'm just wondering is there anything else I should be looking out for before I put my new bulbs and my new fuse in. I hope that's all that needs to be done for my head lights. There is also small parking lights on the side bumper at both sides and on the rear I have removed the light fixtures on the rear as they were heavily curroded. These parking lights are all tide into the light switch in the dash of the tractor the wires seem abit rough but im hoping that with new bulbs they should work just fine. I'm also curious, I'm installing 4 halogen work lights onto the top of the cab and I'm looking about buying an inline fuse and the inline fuse I have bought comes in a water proof holder with 16 gauge wire at either side but the wire I am using is 14 is it OK to join 16 and 14 gauge wire or will I have to match them up.

Sorry for the really long post but any advice would be really appricated thanks
