    Hi,

I don't have a chimney breast/fireplace and i'm looking for something that can give me a real flame (or great flame effect) in my downstairs sitting room. Are there any good options?

I can't really get a flue to work anywhere. Its just for cosiness/visual not even for heating.

    Cheers

Have you the option of a balanced flue? You'd just need an exterior wall and the proper clearances. It'd be for a gas fire.

I can only go against a party wall and can't really run a flue to the extern wall unfortunately

You can get flueless fires but strict provisions for ventilation must be met. Plus it has to be installed by an rgi. Personally I'd never fit one or light one.

    Small TV
Go onto Netflix and look up "fire"

Very realistic, some even have subtitles for the crackling flame  ????

But the fire is good and very safe.

Have a look before you laugh.

Nice one in Turkish barbers on Oliver Plunkett Street, if down Cork way.
