Travel to cork from Westport

    How can I get to cork airport from Westport
    By train or bus and how long does it take .

    I just tried it for a laugh. It told me no such journey is available,,,, really great service. If the OP is on he can get a bus to Galway and then get a bus direct to Cork Airport. It's one of the private crowds can't think of their name.

    Tried it a few days ago and it gave me that routing. Did you select a date/time as it assumes that you are leaning today and plans accordingly. With it being New Years eve and all......

    Try google maps.

    Train Wesport to Heuston, Heuston to Cork, bus 226 from Cork Kent to airport.

    Irish rail don't like connections, so it seems you have to change train in Dublin.

    3 daily services between Westport and Cork:
    Westport-Portarlington, Portarlington-Portlaoise or Thurles, Portlaoise or Thurles to Cork.

    • Westport-Athlone
    • Athlone-Athenry
    • Athenry-Limerick Junction
    • Limerick Junction-Cork
