I have recently purchased an item on line at a fantastic sale price. I received confirmation of my purchase and a receipt for same.
However the company have now cancelled my purchase due to "technical difficulties "in processing same
Having revisited the site it could be argued that this was an obvious error in pricing as similar products (colour being only difference) are on sale at a reduced price of €1199 and not the €199 I paid for my purchase.
Company involved have cancelled my purchase transaction and are refunding my account.
Am I entitled to insist they honour the original purchase?
    Thoughts please😊

If it's an obvious misprice, then no, you can't insist that they sell it to you at that price. If you check the T&C of your receipt, it'll probably have text similar to "your order is not confirmed until it's dispatched". By cancelling and refunding your money, theres nothing more to be done by the shop here.
