ITunes not combining tracks any more.

    Hi,

    Just updated my iTunes to whatever is the latest version.
    I have now noticed that this new version is not combining tracks any more.
    I would download a double album, CD1 and CD2.
    Before I was able to highlight both sets of tracks,
    Get info, and I could change the CD title to whatever and it would combine both CD's into one.
    This is not happening now,
    it goes through all the above, but on completion, it shows nothing has happened.

    Is there something in the new version that has been modified ?
    or am I missing something obvious ?

    Any assistance would be welcome.
