Absolutely crazy to think that Betfair went 40/1 on Crosse Fire. If I was online then, I would have had my biggest bet of the year had I got that price. Only 10/1 now, but I am happy to have my usual sized bet on it. Outstanding record over the 5 furlongs at Southwell, this is a real specialist AW track and if there's one that will take to conditions tomorrow it'll be my pick who has got by far the most proven ability here and also the winner of the equivalent race this time last year. Only question is whether it can get out of the stalls or not this time. With deep sand and kick back to deal with at this track, a horse's race is over within seconds over a 5 furlong trip if can't get itself together early doors. That's why each way betting is a total waste of time with this one, either wins or comes last.

Nichols Canyon wins doing handstands and then would imagine heads to the Champion Hurdle.

Alpha des obeaux will run 4 or 5 more bad races just to make sure everyone gives up on him then bang wins the grand national off bottom weight next year.😀

Petit Mouchoir won that very well. Good turn of foot when asked just turning in.

Lets not overlook a well judged ride by Cooper. Impressive
