    Really?

Not that i'm going to buy a guitar for that money without trying it but FFS a case would be a gimme if i'm spending that kind of cash?

i think i am brainwashed to liking the idea of a Suhr, never played one.

Have played 3 grand les pauls and was not overly impressed.....

The Suhr gig bag is very good quality though.

I quite like that they're not supplying a case. The way I see it, if you're spending that kinda case, you're going to keep the guitar on a wall hangar if you're in a studio, or in a road case with other guitars if you're gigging at scale. Empty cases just take up too much space, and hard cases are a pain for gigging with (assuming you'll spend that level of cash for a gigging instrument)

i suppose you have a point, also you made me smile at " gigging at scale", i wish :-)

As colm says it is a good bag.

I have been rationalising the money.

It is a guitar i will always have, it will always be worth half what i pay for it.

    Let the saving begin.....

better off with a good quality gig bag. When i used to gig. I'd have my guitar strapped to my back, amp in one hand and pedal board in the other. Travel light! When i eventually get back on the road i'll be investing in one of these

Yeah they're a good crowd to deal with. I've bought 2 Dr Z amps off them in the past and they gave us a good deal.
