Postgraduate in Neuropharmacology?

    I just asked this in the NUIG subforum.

    Same thing - any insights into the course and work potential.
    What the working hours and payscale are like?
    What the course itself might be like in terms of being demanding etc?

    I was just interested in this program as I've an interest in pharmacology specific to certain disorders - but initial viewing into career prospects were discouraging.
    Full time work winding up at about 28 to 32 grandingtons a year.
    Not exactly spectacular money.
    My other option is physical therapy, where I could make the same, at about a quarter of the working time = more free time for me.
    Any insights into neuropharmacology as a course, is it demanding?
    And the resultant work.
    I understand it could be in a clinical hospital setting as part of a clinical drug trial, or a pharmaceuticals company.
    Working hours etc?
    Any insights - or even a forum that might be better to pose this question in?
