I have measured and I will need one metre squared of concrete. I have the mixer and plenty of sand/gravel but how many bags of cement (25kg) will I need to buy roughly?

Depends how deep your 1 metre squared of concrete is, or do you mean 1metre cubed?.

sorry metre cubed. Its just for a small slab in front of a garage door. Whats the correct mix for this job. Car and jeep/trailer will be driving over it.

It's a big slab if it's a cubic metre of concrete. You sure of your measurements?

I've always worked on the rule of thumb of 20std mixs/barrow fulls to the cubic meter at a half bag of cement a mix to 12-15 shovels of gravel
It might not be the most scientific but its a good enough guide to go on especially for small works
More importantly make sure the base is well compacted hardcore of min 150mm and conc is min 100mm with 10mm mesh steel to keep it together
Tbh.... if its for your self work away and take tge chance of a consistent mix right through
But if its a payable job I'd have a ready mix in.
Including the small load charge and all its a far superior mix especially where there's traffic concerned.
