    Hi
My wife had to get her heating fixed a couple of years ago as it never was able to get warm air. In the past week it has stopped again and yesterday packed in completely so no air at all comes out now! I am wondering if it might be something electrical so I had a look at the fuses and they seem ok but one for air con (number 2) isn't there at all so I'm wondering if this might have something to do with it?? I've attached photos of the fuse box and the plans from the car book.
    Thanks!

Do you mean the heater fan is not working? I would assume that if it worked ok for a few years and assuming no one has removed the missing fuse, it should not be related to this.

i was thinking the same in relation to the fuses john but when i saw on the book that a couple of them were related to the heating then i thought that maybe one was doing the job of two but obviously not! nothing at all is happening when you turn on the heating fan, no air at all is coming out

It will be the heater resistors for the fan motor. Talk to Opel garage. Should be cheap

The fan will work on the highest speed if it's just resistor failure. You need to see if there's power to the switch for starters and work from there.

I wonder if there's an airlock. You could trying running the engine for a few minutes with the coolant cap off.

No air flow either means no power reaching the fan, or no fan....
Number 28 is the fuse you want to check - it's a 30A fuse according to the book and if it's not under the bonnet, it'll be in the car. I think it's in the car.
    See if that's blown first.

so i tried the fan again on the highest setting there and nothing happened. i also had a look at fuse 28 and it looked ok when i took it out. its actually a 40 A in the fuse box instead of a 30 A like it says in the book though

,.....sounds like the heater matrix, one went in my Astra coupe, went intermittently at first ,wasn't a cheap fix, think dash had to come out to get at it!
