Hi I made an order on River Island on Friday I was in a hurry and instead of having to enter my card details I opted for Paypal I didnt realise there is only an exchange on items using paypal and I stupidly ordered a pair of trousers in two sizes with the intention of getting a refund on the pair that didnt fit, the status on paypal is pending is there any way of cancelling it at this stage any help appreciated

Can you not cancel the order with River Island is the order hasn't been dispatched yet?

Hi doesnt seem to be an option to cancel on their website I would say it would be impossible to get in contact with them this time of year..

Good news is that this time of years there's probably nobody sending out orders either. Email them anyway and try to ring them first opportunity.

If you used PayPal I'm assuming that it's an online order. All online orders made within the EU have a 7 day cooling off period if they have T&C s on their site (they will have) & I think 14 days if they don't display T&C s on the site. So you can return the goods (unused) up to 7 days of receiving them. They must be notified within the 7 days.
A company like River Island I would not expect to have any problems with this

Edit: you are entitled to a full refund for the cost of the goods (not delivery) with this.
