    Just another example of Putin's hubris.

    In reality, the Russian military is just a barely held together selection of Soviet era sh1tbox hardware; their one functioning aircraft carrier is a crate that needs an ocean going tugboat to travel alongside, they regularly loose fighter aircraft and have to lay-up submarines.

    This particular plane type, the Tu-154, has an appalling record, they should all have been grounded donkeys years ago but Russian symbolic pride prevented it.

    RIP to those lost.
