    Hi,
Im in a mess , iv sheared the torx bit in the sump to drain the oil,iv tried to siphon the oil from the drip stick but now have a plastic tube lost in there. I tried to do this myself as im broke.
Will the tube be ok if its not removed?
How can i change the oil now?

    Don't start the car.
One could weld onto the existing nut or drill it out or use a suction pump but how much tube have you lost.

The head of the bolt is round, in the middle is a torx bit. Its the middle that i ruined. Maybe i could try and put a vice grips on the round head in the morning.

sensor might look like this http://www.usa-view.com/gallary/CA03159/1.jpg

take it out instead of drain plug, if its there.

Yes, i think there is. This has a torx head as well, it would require alot bigger size which i dont think i have.

You probably pushed the drain tube in too far.
If you push it in too far it will hit the bottom of the sump and curl back out over the oil and just suck air.
Try to feel when it touches the bottom of the sump.

    Weld a nut onto it

    Weld a nut onto it

Got the nut off this morning, very rough method.

Hacksaw a small slot in the nut, block hammer and chisel to rotate it . I know this method will annoy people but i will replace the nut the next time i change the oil.

    Thanks again for the suggestions
