I'm a single parent with a part time job. My money is OK but I with childcare I wouldn't be able to afford rent. But I need to move out of my parents home. Does anyone know how I can go about this? Dunno if this is the right forum.

No, he owes nearly a grand in maintenance, had a bench warrant out for it and gives me 20 a week n thinks he's the bees knees for even doing that..

Ring the housing dept of your local authority and go about applying for either HAP or RAS.
If your home is overcrowded you might be entitled for housing assistance.
