    I've had a fantastic start to the Christmas! I hope everyone else is the same :) looking forward to stuffing a mountain of food into me tomorrow and a few cans while I'm at it! Met Santa 2 weeks ago and he promised me a surprise, better be good!!

    Not in the spirit of the season but I am going to vent.

    Our newborn had a terrible cough during the week and my OH brought her to the doctor. The doctor passed her off as being an over bearing mother and told her everything was OK. Today as she wasn't getting any better we brought her to another doctor who admitted her to hospital and said that's what should have been done initially. She now has to spend her first Christmas in hospital in an incubator and hooked up to an iv. While my oh misses out on the magic of the two elder kids getting up to their presents.

    F*ck that c*nt I hope he has the worst Christmas possible.

    I hope the poor dote gets well soon and that you manage to get some enjoyment from the holiday season.

    Ah no, there are horrendous respiratory illnesses going around and small kids are getting extremely sick. Hope she's starting to pick up, Turtyturd.

    Crap form from the doctor - a bad cough can need antibiotics/steroids for an adult let alone a tiny baby whose respiratory system is still developing.

    Was absolutely dreading it, what with a two deficiencies around the table.
