Would anyone be able to help me?
I moved to UK beginning November with my Irish registered car.
I Did the VRT export test with NCT. I left for UK a day latter. They told me that they had no code for the car, a Toyota Auris and that they would be in touch in the next couple of weeks. Within a few days a received a letter to my address in Ireland containing "NCTS Vehicle Export Examination Receipt" which stated the car was an x2 and no refund is due. When i phoned the NCT line to query this they said that I wasn't entitled to a refund, the girl then put me on hold, came back to me and said their was a problem with a code, and this would need to be queried. This would take 5 days. It took another 3 weeks of phoning every few days and I eventually got another letter with a new "NCTS Vehicle Export Examination Receipt" Stating I was owed €2260 refund.
So now I have just got the car registered in UK(A lot of bother!!!!), I am ready to apply for the refund in Ireland. I am wondering would their be any possibility of them saying i'm not entitled to a refund again?

I'd say you are OK as long as you don't owe the revenue anything here!
