On Sunday there will be 4 gaming PCs in the house, I intend to play some coop games with the kids.

    Any suggestions:

    AOE
    Vermintide
    Borderlands 1/2
    Homefront
    Space Hulk
    Broforce
    Helldivers
    Arma 3
Elite Dangerous (they be grand in their sidewinders vs my corvette
    FIFA
    SWAT 4

These are the game off the top of my head I have.

Left for dead series - though might be a bit gory for kids.
Call of Duty 2 Black Ops
    Rocket League

Rainbow Six Siege is a must go for a little arcad'y feel with some moderate realism, 1-4 online Team v Team.

Feel free to hop on the community TS if you want somewhere to talk,

    Minecraft,
    Space engineers,
    RUST private server, etc.

Any game where base-building is a focus. Co-operative stuff like that are great for families to play.

Is the campaign co-op? I loved the campaign in DOW2 but I hated the MP versus the original Dawn of War.

Company of Heroes is another amazing game but not sure if its what OP is looking for really.

Earth Defence Force 4.1 is one of the best co-op experiences you can have right now. Loot drops of ridiculous guns, giant bugs and aliens to kill and full destructible environments.

Flatout 2 is good fun, as are all the mini-games. Often play it when LAN'ing with mates.

    =-=

If playing AOE ROR, please remember that the cheat "king arthur" changes birds to dragons :D

Keep playing it, it's janky and clunky but loads of fun especially in co-op.

Also the other classes are great fun to mess around with, the soldier class can be a bit run of the mill.
