Any recommendations on a brand/make etc?

We paid dear enough for two 10 year ones off the ESB store (gone now from what I can see) and didn’t get close to 10 years (the same with another model)

Found the ones we have on Maplin

One of them is chirping away, so I want to try and get one in a bricks a motor shop for peace of mind over Christmas

    Thanks for any help

Usually they should be replaced around 5 years some carbon alarms have parts that can be exchanged but the unit always has a certain life span.
