The new veyron, Not that I think the chiron is a good looking car, or something I would ever put money down on, but now it comes with a new W16 engine, just when the world was going to shame with all this electric eco hybrid nonsense, the age of euro 6 out of the darkness comes a new 16 cylinder engine. Just under 1500 horses and an 8 litre displacement, it gives me hope that big ICE engines still have a place.

There's enough displacement for a neighbourhood of squirrels in this monster :D

    Can't wait to testdrive a Model S P100D.

Can positively say nothing. I've become a retrospective car enthusiast and stopped looking forward to new models a number of years ago.

The future for new cars is bleak.

There are very few cars that I can actually afford to either buy or run that would excite me. Crossovers and marketing muck is the future.

I'm excited about the next generation of electric stuff. Very few current cars excite me now. We've kinda jumped the shark in terms of incremental improvements

^^ Well put, nothing really wows any more. Actually that's a lie, I saw the new Panamera in a review last night, what an amazing looking car inside and out, but mega bucks.

The new s-class in a few years will be interesting, as will the new electric Rolls whenever they appear. Nothing run of the mill really grabs my attention any more, puny engines really are disheartening.

But i'm interested to see where electric takes us in the next few years.

Excited? Cream of the cream of what Mercedes, Audi, BMW, Tesla, Jaguar, Rolls Royce, Bentley, etc. have to offer in their €150k or well above range now or in the next few years

Excited for me? The above 8-10 years later but for maybe €5k or €10k instead of €150k

It is never easy to wait that long and I am not naturally patient. But this is where the acquired skill of delayed gratification really pays off :D

Earlier this year there was a lovely new S8 parked near my best mates house. We looked up the reg (not in Ireland) and that actual car had a new price of €225k

It will still be almost as good as new 15 years down the line and it gives me pleasure to think someone like you or me will buy it for about €5k

Over 500bhp, nought to 100 in a bit over 4s, 50/50 weight distribution

And now for what is really important: Alfas have always been pretty but they weren't much good for about the last 30 years

They are now that they've gone back to RWD

I'd love to see the thickness of the cable for a 5 mins charge.

I think as a soft change over to electric, the Mercedes phev and bmw phev are pretty excellent.
Upcoming 5 series in 530e form will be a stunning car as far as main stream cars go.

I took a leaf out for a test drive a few years ago.....wow , the exceleration was really good and car felt beautiful to drive.

“And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, generates funds to the exchequer. You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

Wouldn't have said this until I got the chance to drive one recently but most definitely Tesla.
