    No, just no. It was one of the worst TV shows of its day - truly dreadful, unwatchable muck.



    If you enjoy TV series about misbehaving pensioners, "The Last of the Summer Wine", is the one to watch. :D

    I was at a comedy night in a pub a few years ago and the comedian was very good but the audience weren't really engaged and I remember at one point the comedian saying "look at ya's all at the back there and the bar. Yer like something out of Last of the Summer Wine" :/:)

    Yep, the mother used to watch it and it was the only colour tv in the house so had no other choice, but actually ended up liking it.

    The only one still living is Betty White, at 94, who is still on several TV shows.

    Bea Arthur was born the same year as her 1922, but the supposed eldest, Sophia, who was Dorothy's (Bea Arthur's) mother was played by Estelle Getty who was born in 1923.
