now is your chance to emulate our friends from mayo.

    Sports Capital Programme

The Sports Capital Programme aims to foster an integrated and planned approach to developing sports and physical recreation facilities throughout the country. In particular, its objectives are to:

assist voluntary and community organisations, national governing bodies (NGBs) of sport, local authorities and in some cases VECs and schools to develop high quality, safe, well-designed, sustainable facilities in appropriate locations and to provide appropriate equipment to help maximise participation in sport and physical recreation
prioritise the needs of disadvantaged areas in the provision of sports facilities
encourage the multi-purpose use of local, regional and national sports facilities by clubs, community organisations and national governing bodies of sport

The 2017 Sports Capital Programme will be open for applications from 9am on Monday 23 January 2017.

The deadline for registration is 5pm on Friday 10th February 2017. If your organisation is not registered on OSCAR by 5pm on10 February 2017, you will not be able to make an application. If your organisation has already registered, you do not need to register again.

The deadline for applications is 5pm on Friday 24 February 2017. The online system will be shut down at this time and no late or partial applications will be accepted.

Our club is considering a joint application with another club.
We are applying for sports equipment which we hope to share with another club.
There is no sharing of facilities or capital investment involved.

Would anyone have copy of a licence agreement between clubs, which they have used in the past?
We want to avoid the cost of a solicitor until we know what an agreement might look like.

    Thanks

Ehm, this wouldn't be emulating the Mayo Club at all as it was not this fund they applied to. They did get funding from it in a previous year though. Still waiting on their new machinery to show up too.

    Hi,

Is there a newer thread on this for 2020 and/or 2023 grants? We have a grant for a local GAA club from the 2020 round of funding but have no commenced work. We have received one extension and may require another one as its difficult to get contractors at the minute. My question in short is it possible to avail of a second extension as I can't seem to get a clear response on it.

    Many thanks in advance.
