Alternator for 2001 Mondeo 1.8 Petrol

I'm told the alternator is gone in my mondeo. Any ideas how much it should cost to get repaired in terms of parts and labour? Thing is I have a car for spares at home (exact same model) but the car is a €150 euro tow away from my mechanic. It's in a Ford dealers - my mechanic is more back street
