FM104 New Producer

    Just seen that Denzil Lacey is taking over as Producer at FM104, he was in RTE most recently, can't help but feel FM104 only got a new Producer last year or something?

    Had felt the station sounded a little stale after coming back from the UK where I heard some pretty good stuff in comparison.

    Didn't he just start working in RTE, why leave so soon?
    What stations in the UK do you think FM104 should sound like?
    I agree whenever I get to listen to them recently they don't sound as hot as they used to.

    It shouldn't sound like any UK station as such, it's a big enough station to make its own stamp and they way it should sound, and its not the producers I blame as such, there is crap forced into the schedule that is obviously a requirement for the BAI and it makes things sound clunky.

    I do also just have a gripe with the music in general now, its the same crap on repeat now it seems...maybe im getting old...
