Just wondering did anyone hear how many applied and for what tiers etc. Im in tier 2 so was hoping I might get in even tough the money is not great but its better than what the cattle are making at the minute

Believe it was absolutely impossible to get through to GLAS Section in Johnstown Castle over the past few weeks. That isn't good at all!

I seen that thats for the lads that already in it. I was wondering about the ones that are looking to get into it.. makes for sad reading when you see lads still waiting 2 years to get paid, it looks like a big mess

Boss here has a glas contract and is retiring. He is setting the land and is just wondering must he have the glas lands on a bps application in order to claim it or can he let the whole lothing out , maps and all and still claim glas? Hardly can I would imagine.

If he rents out the land then he is not in control of the GLAS actions so won't get paid. He could retain the GLAS section of the farm and rent out the rest then he would get the GLAS payments.
