Email set up... balnk screen

Trying ro add a hotmail account onto my phone. Click add account, then hotmail, then enter my email and then all i get is a screen with "Set up email" at the top and the rest of screen is blank, no options or next button... tried manual set up and ended up with same screen.... Any suggestions...
