This one from Olbia Costa Smeralda in Sardinia. It's been in force over a month and estimated for another few weeks at least. Surely someone's caught the dog by now?

Quite common in the "less developed" parts of the world too.

I've seen similar published in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Indonesia.

Personally, I've had to stop taxiing a few times due to stray animals in the way. So far, for a couple of dogs, a horse and a rather large snake.
Once in Dhaka, I had to wait while one of the locals finished taking his morning sh1t in the grass beside the taxiway.

Try Peshewr where you have to stop for the train crossing the runway, or even Boston where you might have to delay your takeoff due to ships crossing the departure path.

Even in Dublin its not uncommon to have wait for a drove of hares to cross the taxiway

The train is the least of your worries in that kip.

PIA Pakistan International Airlines Airbus A310-300, registration AP-BGN performing flight PK-756 from Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) to Peshawar (Pakistan) with 178 passengers and 12 crew, was on short final to Peshawar's runway 35 at about 22:30L (17:30Z), descending through about 300 feet AGL, when the aircraft was hit by a number of bullets, the bullets penetrating the fuselage belly at the right hand side and entering the cabin. A female passenger was hit in her head and received fatal injuries, the purser received serious injuries and another flight attendant minor injuries. The crew continued for a safe landing on the runway. Both injured flight attendants are in hospital care.

The airport of Peshawar was closed for about 9 hours.

The airline reported the aircraft was about 3.5nm from the airport (approximate height on a 3 degree glideslope would be 1100 feet AGL) when about 10 bullets hit the aircraft. The female passenger in seat 59J was fatally injured, a flight attendant was hit by three bullets and is in critical condition, a second flight attendant also received injuries.

RCB in South Africa has a note on the aerodrome chart about "Excessive bird and monkey activity on aerodrome." Certainly remember the monkeys scampering off over the fence when we landed there.

In Sligo there's a popular walkway at either end of the runway. Being chased by a dog on takeoff isn't unheard of...
