Hey guys, so I currently have a Boss DS-1 distortion pedal and I'm looking to add a pedal that will compliment it, at the moment I'm looking at a compression pedal mainly, but considering others like chorus, delay, octave etc, can anybody give me some advice on what my next pedal should be?
    Cheers,
    Jack

you're probably better off moving this to Music -> Instrument.
    but my 2 cents.
i'd be inclinded to go for something like the Boss ME25 or the Boss ME80 if you think you'd like to try all the different sound types you mentioned.
i havent tried the either but i have the ME70 which i bought a while back (i.e. years ago and now discontinued)
and the sounds are all good and no delay when changing between them, which my really really old Zoom pedal had.
Seeing as you're posting in the Rock Metal forum for this, the Boss stuff overall is good imo.
you can always get more into the dedicated tone stuff afterwards but all those individual pedals add up $$
they can be good fun too :D
