Female doctors in Blackrock/Dun Laoghaire area??

I'm a 19yr old male who has been visiting a GP in Dundrum and Blackrock, but I dislike them. I prefer female doctors. However this is pretty rare in Ireland.

My question is, are there female GP's around this area? I am willing to commute a bit further to see them. I know Blackrock and UCD Hospital are on the 4 bus route but most seem to be specialists.

Most of the doctors in the Deansgrange Medical Centre are female. It's above the Grange Pharmacy (new building) on the corner of Kill Ave. and Clonkeen Road., entrance on the Kill Ave. side opposite the Grange pub. By default they send most male patients to their only male doctor, Dr. Cregan so you will to specify that you want to see a female doctor. Best bus routes are the 46A or 75, the no. 4 from Blackrock will leave you a 10 minute walk away on Deansgrange Road, get off as soon as it turns left at the lights.

    Is it near Baker's Corner?

Yes, if you're on a 46A or 75 bus coming from Dun Laoghaire, get off at the next stop (2056) after you go through the lights at Bakers Corner and down the hill. Continue walking down the hill on the same side of the road and it's a couple of doors after Insomnia at the bottom. There's medical and dental practices on the first floor which share the same entrance from the street, go up the stairs and follow the signs.

Beechlawn Medical Centre in Monkstown has Dr Kate O'Leary & Dr Penelope J Bleakley. Dr Bleakley is particularly good.
