    Hi, whats traffic like on route Galway - Dublin motorway direct Tues/wed morning . Planning on leaving at 6 am for morning meeting 8.30in Dublin city centre , would I make it ?

    thats optimistic! I'd be leaving at 5:30 at the latest.

    Outside Galway to outside Dublin will take you less than two hours. From the M50 onwards and it's anybody's guess, let alone getting parked once you arrive. Maybe get the 5:30AM train; it gets in for 8AM. That or allow the extra hour as per the last post.

    made it in 2hrs 45mins with a 7/8 min stop en route on a 5.25am start:D. v slow going in last 32k from sign!
